Le Petit Jardin is pleased to announce its annual event in honor of this special time of year, "Un Thé au Petit Jardin"! Join us for tea and hot cocoa, finger sandwiches, holiday cookies and FUN! You and your little ones, ages 8 and younger, will enjoy tea service, traditional French holiday music, fireside story time, a professional photo seating and each child will stuff his or her very own Teddy Bear to take home and to snuggle!

Le Petit Jardin offers Storytime 'à la française' at your local library!
Le Petit Jardin offers fun French Immersion to toddlers and young children of Marin County.
Along with their San Anselmo-based nursery school and Mommy & Me programs, LPJ now takes its 'show on the road' with a French Immersion Story Time offered at The Belvedere-Tiburon and San Anselmo Libraries! Bring your tiny tots and pre-Kers for this fun, interactive Circle Time to celebrate reading and the French language!
Children and parents or caregivers will enjoy singing and nursery rhymes as well as well as an illustrated storybook read by LPJ Mommy & Me instructor, Anne! Whether you or your children have been exposed to the French language before or not, this immersive experience will prove that context, gestures and visuals can draw in the mind of a child in any language and can open up a whole new world of learning!!

Artist and teacher Jean Vadal Smith will lead LPJ students in a start-to-finish artistic materpiece in the impressionistic style of Jean-Claude Monet. Younger students will appreciate her fun, free-spirited approach to instruction while Pre-kers will excite in their ability to create a beautiful finished piece! For the third year in a row, LPJ happily hosts a vegetable seedling booth for all children! Please stop by our station located in the sponsors' circle to plant your very own veggie and take it home to your home garden! Vegetable seedlings generously donated by Sunnyside Nursery of San Anselmo. This year, tickets required to participate.
Hop on over to Marin Art and Garden Center on Saturday, May 21, 2011 from 9am until 3 pm for the 53 Annual Pixie Park Spring Fair. This fun-filled day has delighted young children for decades and has become a much anticipated tradition for many Bay Area families. The Spring Fair features games, rides and performances for all children up to six years of age. Admission is free. Games, rides, and food do require purchased tickets.

We will depart via the Larkspur Ferry and continue on to celebrate at the game- SF Giantswill take on the NY Mets!
